As the founder of Danville Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics, I’ve built a practice rooted in clinical excellence, meaningful relationships, and the belief that every child deserves to feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. Over the years, I started noticing patterns in many of my young patients that went beyond their smiles. Mouth breathing, restless sleep, feeding and speech challenges, crowded teeth, and changes in facial growth were often connected in ways that weren’t always obvious at first. These experiences inspired me to look deeper into functional pediatric dentistry and the important connection between oral function, airway health, sleep, and craniofacial development. My passion for catching these concerns early eventually led me to create Flourish Airway Collective, a dedicated center focused on comprehensive, airway-centered care for infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents. At Flourish, I look at the bigger picture of how the tongue, lips, jaws, palate, breathing patterns, and upper airway work together—and how these systems can influence a child’s ability to breathe, sleep, eat, speak, grow, and thrive. I take a calm, compassionate, and collaborative approach to care. Depending on each child’s unique needs, this may include support for tethered oral tissues, early expansion and growth guidance, oral-function therapy, advanced airway imaging, and collaboration with trusted ENTs, sleep physicians, myofunctional therapists, speech and feeding specialists, and other healthcare providers. At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: families deserve to feel heard, supported, and confident in their child’s care. I want parents to understand what may be contributing to their child’s concerns and leave feeling like they have a clear, thoughtful path forward. Then the best coast called me back home, Bay Area born and raised. I completed my pediatric dental residency at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and Oregon Health & Science University. I am so grateful for every moment I spend as a pediatric dentist, and I am continually inspired by my amazing patients and their families. After practicing as a general dentist, I realized my heart truly belonged in pediatric dentistry and went on to complete my specialty training at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. My goal is to make each visit feel safe, encouraging, and even fun, while partnering closely with parents to build healthy habits that last a lifetime. I truly believe education and prevention are powerful tools, and I love empowering families with the knowledge and confidence they need to support their child’s oral health. I also have a passion for travel and experiencing different cultures. During dental school, I was fortunate to combine that love of exploration with service by participating in outreach trips to Cambodia, Panama, Belize, and the Philippines, providing care to children with limited access to dental services.
