Prevention is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that with the right tools and the right team, most dental problems are entirely avoidable. That's why we offer a range of preventive treatments — digital x-rays, Silver Diamine Fluoride, and dental sealants — each carefully chosen to protect your child's smile at every stage of their development. Our goal is simple: keep those little teeth healthy, happy, and cavity-free for years to come.

Digital x-rays

As much as we'd love to have X-ray vision, that superpower is still out of reach! Many parts of a tooth and its surrounding structures are hidden from the naked eye, which is why digital X-rays are such an essential part of your child's visit. They help us see the full picture — catching small issues early, before they ever become big problems.

Your child's safety is always our priority. We follow the ALARA principle (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) to keep radiation exposure as minimal as possible. Have questions? We love them! Reach out anytime — we want every parent to feel just as at ease as their little one does in our chair.

SDF (Silver Diamine Fluoride)

SDF (Silver Diamine Fluoride) is one of our favorite tools in the fight against cavities — and for good reason! This remarkable liquid uses the power of silver, a trusted antimicrobial agent used in medicine for over 100 years, to stop decay in its tracks before it can progress further.

Application is quick, quiet, and completely drill-free — just a gentle brush onto the tooth that takes less than a minute. It's as easy as it sounds! Healthy tooth surfaces are left completely untouched, though any decayed areas will darken after treatment. We most often use SDF on small cavities between the back teeth, where any color change remains out of sight.

The result? A stress-free appointment and far fewer fillings. That's a win we'll always celebrate!

Dental Sealants

Even the most dedicated little brushers can't reach every nook and cranny — and that's where dental sealants come in! The tiny grooves on the back molars are prime hiding spots for bacteria, and no matter how well your child brushes, those areas can be nearly impossible to clean thoroughly. Sealants act as a protective shield, sealing out decay before it ever gets a chance to start.

Our sealants are BPA-free, white-tinted resins that bond seamlessly to the biting surfaces of the back teeth — invisible, painless, and incredibly effective. While we typically place them on permanent teeth, we may recommend them for baby teeth in children who are more cavity-prone.

We hope to see each sealant last 3–5 years, but here's something we're especially proud of: as long as your child is a patient with us, sealant touch-ups are always on us. Because keeping those smiles cavity-free? That's what we're here for!
